NCSA Recruiting Profile
An online NCSA Recruiting Profile provides college coaches with a snapshot of who athletes are. Athletes add athletic stats, highlight video, academic information, personal statement, college preferences and more in one place to make it easy for coaches to evaluate them as a recruit.
Coach Activity Report
Each week, athletes receive a Coach Activity Report, which lists coaches who have viewed their profile and searched for their information, in addition to how well they match with every college on the report. Athletes can use this feature to proactively reach out to coaches who have shown interest in them and alert coaches that they are interested in their program.
Once an athlete has found a college program they’re interested in, they can reach out to the coach instantly through the Message Center. Coach contact information is available through our platform, so athletes don’t have to waste time searching the internet for email addresses and phone numbers.
NCSA’s matching algorithm is the most sophisticated in the industry. Based on athletes’ preferences, recruiting evaluation, skill level and academics, we’ll match them with a list of colleges that offer the best fit. They can then start reaching out to those college coaches directly.
Match Analysis offers a visual snapshot of how an athlete would fit academically and athletically at a specific college. This feature makes it easier than ever to see if a school meets all of their requirements.
Search for schools by major, cost, location and more. With our College Search feature, athletes can easily filter through schools based on their specific athletic, academic and college fit criteria. Looking for Division III schools that are close to home and have less than 10,000 students? We can help athletes find them.
NCSA Favorites is a personalized list of target schools. Athletes build their target list by finding teams that are recruiting their position or event. Then, they can look at rostered athletes to see if their size, skills and speed are comparable. If their roster research checks out and it feels like a good fit, athletes can select yes to Favorite a school.
Professionally edited highlight and skills video
In most sports, the highlight or skills video is one of the most important parts of a recruiting profile. To ensure athletes are showing off their best moves, NCSA has a video editing team to help them turn their raw video footage into a cohesive video that will capture the attention of college coaches.
Athletes can find all their notifications in one place. Keep up with profile views, coach follows, roster openings and unread messages, at home and on the go.
Keep Track of Your Progress
One of the biggest challenges for athletes is keeping track of where they are in the recruiting process for each school on their target list. The My Progress tab presents cards that create a visual “to-do” list for each college that help athletes build connections with the coach and the program. With this feature, athletes can see what steps they’ve taken and what still needs to be done.
Athletes can learn everything they need to know about the recruiting process with NCSA University. Recruiting rules and regulations can get complicated, so we’ve created the largest library of recruiting education, classes and videos to help athletes along the recruiting journey. Plus, we’ve made the process fun and interactive with a series of recruiting drills. The most important part: Athletes are not alone. Our recruiting experts are always available to provide answers and personal guidance.
