How It Works

Expert guidance at every step

From your first consultation to decision day, our pre-health advising draws on years of admissions data and insight from experts who have been on both sides of the application.

  1. 1

    Meet your specialized team

Students get matched with advisors from our network of 220+ experts, including former admissions officers and current medical and health-professions students who navigated these paths themselves.

  2. 2

Choose a path and build the list

Advisors help students explore pre-med, BS/MD, nursing, and research paths, then build a college list around the programs, clinical opportunities, and outcomes that fit their goals.

  3. 3

    Build a health-focused profile

With their advisor, students line up clinical exposure, research, and volunteering, plus a course load and testing plan that shows they’re ready for a demanding health track.

  4. 4

    Apply and interview with confidence

Students get one-on-one guidance on “why medicine” or “why nursing” essays and program supplements, then practice mock traditional and multiple mini interviews (MMIs).

BS/MD & Direct Medical Programs

Secure your med school seat early

A BS/MD program admits students to a college and its affiliated medical school at the same time, so they earn a conditional med school seat as a high school senior. Many are more selective than Ivy League schools, and that’s where CollegeAdvisor students stand out.

How does CollegeAdvisor.com match me with my advisor?

After you enroll, our Match Team reviews your intake forms to ensure that we match you with an advisor within a compatible time zone who aligns with your gender preferences and will bring unique insight to your priorities in college admissions. While we cannot guarantee that we can pair you with an advisor who attended your top school or studied your prospective major, we can ensure that your advisor will have helped students with interests and goals similar to yours. We encourage all students to meet with their assigned primary advisor for their kickoff call in order to learn more about how their background and experiences can help you!

What if I’m not satisfied with my advisor?

We work hard to match each student with the advisor best suited to their needs. However, we do offer all clients the opportunity to request a re-match if their advisor does not meet their expectations.

Our students have gained admission to every Ivy League and Top 100 college and university and won in aggregate over $5 million in scholarship and merit aid.
