Hi there! My name is Sena and I look forward to working with you during your college application journey. I have recently been serving as Research Analyst at the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C. A few months prior to joining the IMF, I received my Bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Columbia University in 2017. During the third year of my undergraduate studies, I studied abroad at the University of Oxford, Pembroke College in England. I previously worked as a research assistant at Columbia University, and as a summer intern at the Ministry of Economy in Ankara. I also worked as a journalist at Hurriyet Newspaper of Turkey, and have a publication that received a prize in fiction at New York Book Festival 2011. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, singing, traveling, and acting in local film and TV productions. Being originally from Turkey and having completed my high school education in England I am especially interested in hearing from international students who would like to come to the United States for their undergraduate education.

Stacey Tuttle

I joined the Yale School of Public Health as Assistant Director of Admissions in 2015, during which time I spent time reviewing applications, advising prospective students, guiding admissions review teams, and traveling with partner schools around the country. I moved to a new role as Associate Director of Student Affairs and Registrar in 2018, and then finally to my current position as Director of Student Affairs and Registrar in 2020. In my current role, I continue to stay in touch with our admissions team; advise current students; develop and maintain student affairs procedures, policies and projects; and manage relevant educational technology and systems. Outside of my work at Yale, I taught in the Public Health Department at Southern Connecticut State University until 2021. As a first generation college student, I have a passion for advising young scholars around their career and college interests, and am excited to be work with students on their educational journeys.

What Our Clients Had To Say

Jyoti Rani

CollegeAdvisor’s flexibility proved how much they really put their customers first. After speaking with the founder, I understood the personal story behind why CollegeAdvisor’s services are such a steal: incredible value at an affordable price! The college application process has now become one of the most valuable periods in my young life because the personal development and insight I gained are truly invaluable. My hearty thanks to my incredible advisor in shaping such a critical aspect of my journey and career.
Francesco Efrem Bonetti
Harvard University

When I started the application process as an international student, nobody around me knew what it consisted of. The time we had available was short and I immediately got along with Genevieve. I was able to portray the full picture of my personality and interests. The application process for colleges in the US is very specific and as an international student with no experience in the USA, getting advice from “insiders” was very helpful. What I loved about CollegeAdvisor is that I was always at the center of the creative process as the only one writing my application.

Sofia Vaca Narvaja
Brown University

As an international student who was not very familiar with the whole American universities system in terms of expectations and rules of the college admission “game” in general, having the advisor team made me feel confident in the work I was aiming for and the essays I ended up submitting. They helped me put my best self forward, both on paper and with my interviews. Lastly, a distinctive feature of CollegeAdvisor is the opportunity to chat with students that attend the universities I was planning to apply to. I found this aspect to be very helpful.

Sam Schulman
Vanderbilt University

CollegeAdvisor ensured that the quality of essays, and the timing in which I submitted, were optimized. The results speak for themselves through my acceptance to my first choice school and endless stories of those same outcomes.

Aliye Kocak
Texas A&M University

Very informative and warm people. All the advisors were open for personal, one-on-one sessions and you can literally connect with all kinds of students from all kinds of schools: Coca Cola Scholarship Scholars, Ivy League students, and national award winners. They are willing to guide you wherever you’d like to go. I especially liked it when I found myself talking with all kinds of students from different backgrounds, who are also interested in the same field as me, as they gave me good advice on how they got to where they are.

Jennifer Lawrence
Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Gabe was absolutely wonderful as an advisor. He was very thorough with both grammatical and content edits in my essays, as well as very knowledgeable whenever I had questions about the process. I primarily needed CollegeAdvisor for assistance in crafting my essays and activity descriptions and didn’t really make use of any of the offered webinars/workshops; I also had my college list already picked out when I came to CollegeAdvisor, so I didn’t receive much help there either, but Gabe did help me do some research on schools that I was applying.
